Stella Artois wanted to improve their packaging design to give a premium product experience to their customers.
They wanted to release a launching video to show off their new Chanel packaging before it went out live.

THE STORYBOARD
The simplicity of the design, the rounded corners, the opening ritual…all of these new features needed to be highlighted.

THE REFERENCES
We wanted to make people feel they were discovering something new, and there’s two ways we did this.
First through the soft movement of the camera - we wanted close ups to show the quality of the design.
The second, through light - light could help us focus on specific characteristics of the pack .

1ST RENDERS
On this first stage we needed to lock the shots, the camera movements and the speed.

1ST LIGHT EXAMPLES
As the light played such an important role we had to think of the source of the light, the tone and the shadows

COLOUR CORRECTION
We needed to pick the colour grading that would go across the whole film

FINAL SHOTS
We went for a darker look and feel to really create contrast and make the revelation more dramatic.
